Our new homepage is live. But the biggest change isn't the design. It is that after years of developing Transformation Nomads, we can finally explain what we do much more simply.
Perhaps that sounds easier than it was.
Behind our work sits Human Sustainability Intelligence™: different disciplines, human experience, technology and forms of intelligence brought together to help people see more of reality before making an important decision.
We needed that complexity behind the scenes.
Our clients didn't.
That realization changed the way we built our new website.
“The world is becoming more complex. Our job is not to add to that complexity, but to help people see what actually matters.”
— Ronald Heister
More information. Still difficult decisions.
There is a strange paradox in modern life.
We have extraordinary access to information. Organizations have dashboards, reports, advisers and increasingly powerful AI. We can analyse more data, faster, than at any previous point in history.
And still businesses get stuck. Investments disappoint. Strategies fail. Leadership teams discover problems later than they would have liked. And individuals can spend months gathering information about an important life decision without becoming any clearer about what to do.
The problem isn't always a lack of information.
Sometimes the relevant information simply never became part of the decision.
It may have been filtered out. Someone may have known something but wasn't heard. An assumption may never have been challenged. Or an important development may have been taking place outside the existing field of view.
We call that the Information Deficit: the difference between what there is to know and what we actually see when a decision is made.
Once we understood that, our own story became much simpler too.
We help reduce that gap.
But information is only part of the story. Two people can look at the same facts and see a different reality, shaped by their experience, assumptions and beliefs. We call this the Reality Paradox.
Seeing more therefore also means questioning the lens through which we see.
Making our website simpler too
We have applied the same principle to our website.
Information Deficit → What are we not seeing?
Reality Paradox → How is what we do see being interpreted?
Rather than expecting every visitor to work out where our work fits into their world, we have organised it around four main groups.
There are Individuals facing important choices about life, career, relationships or direction. Executive Leaders carry responsibility for decisions affecting organizations and people, while often having few places where they can question their own assumptions in complete confidence. Business Owners & Entrepreneurs face decisions about growth, strategy, financing, restructuring, succession and the future of what they have built. And Investors & Capital Providers need to understand as much of the reality behind an opportunity as possible before committing capital.
Their situations can be very different, but the underlying question is surprisingly similar: what am I not seeing that could matter to the decision I am about to make?
That is why we don't look in only one direction.
We look inward, because every decision is influenced by the person making it. By experience, intuition, beliefs, fears and assumptions. We look around us, at what is actually happening between people, organizations and systems. And we look outward and ahead, using external intelligence and AI to identify developments, patterns and early signals that may not yet be visible from where someone currently stands.
None of those perspectives is enough on its own.
Looking inward without testing what is happening in the outside world can leave assumptions unchallenged. Looking only at organizations and systems can miss what is happening within the people who shape them. And AI can process extraordinary amounts of information, but it still depends on what enters its information environment in the first place.
The value lies in bringing those realities together.
Because behind an investment is a human decision. Behind a strategy are human assumptions. Behind an organization are human relationships. And behind a career or life choice is a human being trying to understand what is right for them.
That is what our new website now reflects much more clearly.
We don't need to make reality simpler than it is. We need to make more of the relevant reality visible.
Behind Transformation Nomads, the work can be complex. In front of our clients, it should be simple.
Look inward. Look around you. Look ahead.
And then decide.
That is what we are building at Transformation Nomads. And from today, it is a lot easier to see.
