Human Sustainability Scan

Before you can transform, you need to know where you stand. The Human Sustainability Scan maps how your organization scores on the dimensions that truly matter: trust, dignity, psychological safety, and shared values.

What it is

A snapshot of your organization

The Human Sustainability Scan is a diagnostic instrument that measures the state of human sustainability within your organization. Not based on assumptions or gut feeling, but based on the Human Fulfillment Indicators: concrete, measurable indicators of what's happening beneath the surface.

The scan looks at multiple layers: how individuals relate to their work and values, how teams function and collaborate, and how the organizational culture as a whole supports or hinders humans.

What it is not

Not an employee satisfaction survey

The Human Sustainability Scan is not a traditional employee satisfaction survey. Where an employee satisfaction survey asks whether individuals are happy with their chair and coffee, the scan asks about what truly matters. Do individuals experience psychological safety? Is there trust in leadership? Can individuals act in alignment with their values? Is dignity respected, even under pressure?

These are the questions that determine whether an organization is sustainable at the human level.

How it works

From measurement to insight

The scan consists of a combination of quantitative measurements and qualitative depth. Employees complete a questionnaire based on the Human Fulfillment Indicators. Additionally, we conduct conversations with key figures to add context and nuance.

The results are analyzed and translated into a clear report with concrete findings. Where do you stand strong? Where are the vulnerabilities? And what are the levers for improvement?

What it delivers

Clarity and direction

The result of the scan is a clear picture of where your organization stands on human sustainability. No vague conclusions, but concrete insights translated into recommendations for action.

The scan often serves as the starting point for further engagements. Sometimes it becomes clear that targeted interventions are sufficient. Sometimes it becomes evident that a deeper culture transformation is needed. The scan provides the information needed to make that choice thoughtfully.

For whom

When is the scan relevant?

The Human Sustainability Scan is valuable for organizations that suspect there's more going on than the numbers show. Organizations where absenteeism rises without a clear cause. Where talent leaves even though employment conditions are good. Where teams work past each other. Where leaders feel they're losing grip.

The scan makes visible what otherwise remains hidden. And that is the first step toward change.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Curious how the scan works and what you can expect from it? Below we answer the most frequently asked questions.

How long does a Human Sustainability Scan take?

The timeline depends on the size of your organization and the desired depth. For a mid-sized organization, you can expect a few weeks from questionnaire to final report. We align the process with your schedule and ensure the burden on employees is minimal.

Is the scan anonymous for employees?

Yes. Employees complete the questionnaire anonymously. Results are only reported at the group level, never traceable to individuals. This ensures that individuals can answer honestly and that the scan provides a reliable picture of what's truly happening.
